課程概述 |
What is crystal clear is that there are a host of real-world problems that involve plants: escalating pressures for food, the need for renewable biofuels,
and habitat preservation are being driven by the demands of an ever growing human population. The ability to face these challenges is dependent on a fundamental understanding of the basic biology of plants. Plant stress biology is relating to the problems mentioned above. In this class, abiotic stress response of plant at molecular level will be discussed.............. |
課程目標 |
The aim of this course is to understand how plants respond to environmental stress and how stress tolerant plants are able to avoid that damage. The particular focus of this class is to understand the molecular mechanism of signal transduction when plants encounter drought, salt, wounding, oxidative, heat, and heavy metal stresses. |

If you have taken undergraduate class "Plant Physiology", you will be much easier to understand the course. |
